By analysing successful business cases, we can identify benefits from investments, understand what defines a compelling business case and the role of finances and align budget projections.
Session 6: IT Governance in Practice
Understanding IT Governance and maturity. Focussing on governance standards and the six principles for successful practice, including the role of the ISSP. This also highlights the parts and skills required to deal with ethical challenges.
Session 7: Security
Understand cyber posture and cyber risk mapping techniques through a practical risk and compliance approach to cybersecurity governance. Includes advice on communicating the benefits of security investments to critical stakeholders.
Session 8: Developing Critical Influencing Skills For Better Outcomes
Understanding communication and influencing styles for better technology outcomes. Coursework includes a scenario-based approach to critical influence skills and covers group-meeting tips and the benefits of an outcome-focused approach.
Session 9: Conflict Management and Negotiation
Identifying the sources of conflict and discerning between healthy and unhealthy conflict approaches. We will uncover common negotiating tactics and look at alternatives to meet both parties' needs.
